TAXIMED COMPANY is based in Civitavecchia (Port
of Rome).
There are 20 licensed Taxis in Civitavecchia,they are white and the only
one authorized to pick up hailing.
They are avoilable at Taxi stand outside the Train Station 10 minutes walk
from the main entrance of the harbour.(A free bus shuttle service from the
docks to the main entrance is operating all year around).
During the cruise season you can get our taxis in the piers.They are
waiting for cruisers who need transfer to Rome airport or full day
excursion to visit Rome.
While Taxi is relatively expensive for a single person,can actually be a
bargain for 4 or more persons.For this reason we have planned a “Share a
Taxi” service avoilable from June 2009.
Once you arrive at Civitavecchia harbour you can get a taxi dialing the
